When visiting our website, you have the opportunity to send us a contact request via contact forms. We generally use this personal data to answer your inquiries, to clarify queries or to provide you with access to special information or offers.

The processing of your personal data is carried out in our mutual legitimate interest (according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO).

If you have explicitly given us your consent to use your data in order to continue to provide you with information from digikoo GmbH in the future, we will process your data on the basis of consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO).

You have the right to revoke the consent at any time with effect for the future.
In addition, you may object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation, in particular for purposes of advertising, market or opinion research.

Log data and cookies
Each time the website is accessed, digikoo GmbH collects data and information by an automated system to enable the website to function. This data is stored briefly in the server’s log files.

The following data is collected:

• Information about the browser type and version used
• Operating system of the user
• Internet service provider of the user
• IP address of the user
• Date and time of access
• Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website (referrer)
• Web pages that are accessed by the user’s system via our website.

The processing of the IP address serves the protection against or the traceability of hacker and cyber attacks. The processing of the remaining data is used to provide the content of our website, to ensure the functionality of our IT systems and to ensure the functionality of the website. The data of the log files are always stored separately from other personal data of the users and deleted or anonymized after seven days at the latest.

This processing of your aforementioned data is based on our legitimate interest (according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO) in a proper and secure operation of the website, also in your interest. We take your interests worthy of protection into account by means of anonymization and pseudonymization measures.

Your personal data will be deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless digikoo is legally obliged to retain it or the retention is permitted due to a legal justification.

Security
digikoo GmbH takes precautions to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data is conscientiously protected against loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access or disclosure.

Data recipients, service providers and data transfer to third countries
If it makes sense or is necessary in the context of our business relationship and you have not objected, we will also pass on your contact data (name, address, e-mail and telephone number) within the Westenergie Group and the E.ON Group of companies.

digikoo obligates contracted service providers (such as IT service providers) to comply with data protection and security requirements. digikoo has individual tasks and services carried out by carefully selected and commissioned (IT) service providers who are based outside the EU. Therefore, a third country transfer of personal data takes place. The transfer to third countries is carried out in compliance with the data protection requirements of the EU and national law. To this end, data protection agreements that meet the legal requirements are contractually agreed with the contractual partners to establish an appropriate level of data protection (EU standard contractual clauses).

The data storage takes place exclusively within the EU.

Your rights
We will be happy to provide you with information about whether and which of your personal data we have stored and to whom we have passed it on. In accordance with the legal provisions, you may assert the following further rights: Correction, deletion, restriction of processing (blocking for certain purposes), data transfer and objection to processing, in particular for purposes of advertising, market or opinion research.

If you have given us your consent, you have the option to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

We usually delete stored data two years after the last contact, or as soon as their storage is no longer necessary or you request us to delete them. In the event of statutory retention obligations, we limit the processing of the stored data accordingly. The lawfulness of the processing of your data until revocation remains unaffected by a revocation.

In addition, you are also free to contact the competent supervisory authority of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (P.O. Box 20 04 44 in 40102 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de) regarding data protection issues.

We store your data until the respective legally defined retention period. Afterwards, we delete your personal data insofar as it is not required for the execution of further business processes. Contact requests are deleted two years after the last contact.
