Log data and cookies
Each time the website is accessed, DigiKoo GmbH collects data and information through an automated system in order to enable the functioning of the website. This data is stored for a short time in the log files of the server.
The following data is collected:

- Internet service provider of the user
- IP address of the user
- Date and time of access
- Websites from which the user's system reaches our website (referer)
- Websites accessed by the user's system via our website.

The processing of the remaining data serves to provide the contents of our website, to ensure the functionality of our IT systems and to ensure the functionality of the website. The data of the log files are always stored separately from other personal data of the users and deleted or anonymized after seven days at the latest.
This processing of your aforementioned data takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest (in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DS-GVO) in the proper and secure operation of the website, also in your interest. We take your interest worthy of protection into account through measures for anonymization and pseudonymization.
Your personal data will be deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless DigiKoo is legally obliged to store it or the storage is permitted on the basis of a legal justification.
DigiKoo GmbH takes precautions to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data is conscientiously protected against loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access or disclosure.
Data recipients, service providers and data transfer to third countries
If it makes sense or is necessary in the context of our business relationship and you have not objected, we will also pass on your contact details (name, address, e-mail and telephone number) within the Westenergie Group and the E.ON Group. DigiKoo obliges commissioned service providers (such as IT service providers) to comply with data protection and security requirements. DigiKoo has individual tasks and services carried out by carefully selected and commissioned (IT) service providers who are based outside the EU. Therefore, a transfer of personal data to third countries takes place. The transfer to third countries takes place in compliance with the data protection requirements of the EU and national law. For this purpose, data protection agreements corresponding to the legal requirements are contractually defined with the contractual partners in order to establish an adequate level of data protection (EU standard contractual clauses).
Data is stored exclusively within the EU.
We are happy to provide you with information about whether and which of your personal data is stored by us and to whom we have passed it on. In accordance with the statutory provisions, you can assert the following further rights: correction, deletion, restriction of processing (blocking for certain purposes), data transfer and objection to processing, in particular for purposes of advertising, market or opinion research.
If you have given us your consent, you have to revoke the possibility of consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing of your data until the revocation remains unaffected by a revocation.
In addition, you are free to contact the competent supervisory authority of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (P.O. Box 20 04 44 in 40102 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de) for data protection issues.
We store your data until the respective legally defined retention period. We will then delete your personal data insofar as it is not required to carry out further business processes. Contact requests are deleted two years after the last contact.
